The Inspire Why:

Kalei believes that patients visiting our Albany Creek podiatry clinic deserve far more than a simple diagnosis. They need a definitive, structured plan to move forward. Having competed in high-level sport herself, she understands first-hand the physical setbacks and emotional frustrations associated with injury. Her approach as a dedicated podiatrist in Albany Creek is built around discovering the root cause of discomfort, clarifying every step of the rehabilitation journey, and empowering active individuals to return to the sports and activities they love with absolute confidence.

Professional Profile:

As an experienced Sports Podiatry practitioner and competitive athlete, Kalei brings genuine lived experience to the assessment and rehabilitation of lower-limb sports injuries. She has competed in the Ruby Series in the HART Premier Netball League and represented at elite levels in the QAFLW, touch football, and athletics. As a passionate Foot Care Specialist, Kalei utilises in-depth Running Assessment and comprehensive Gait Analysis protocols to identify movement inefficiencies and design structured rehabilitation pathways. She is especially known for her practical, real-world expertise in Running Shoe Prescription, matching the correct footwear to each runner’s unique biomechanics and training volume.

Education & Innovation:

Graduating with a Bachelor of Podiatry (Honours) from Queensland University of Technology, Kalei completed research investigating the epidemiology and prevention of injuries in semi-professional netball. As a progressive North Brisbane Podiatrist, she combines evidence-based loading protocols with modern clinical techniques to prevent injury recurrence and optimise athletic performance. An active member of both Sports Medicine Australia and the Sport and Exercise Podiatry Association, Kalei ensures her patients at our Albany Creek podiatrist practice receive the latest advancements in sports medicine and functional rehabilitation.

Outside the Clinic:

When she isn’t in the clinic helping runners and athletes perform at their peak, Kalei is an avid distance runner and active netball competitor. She loves spending time outdoors exploring Queensland’s coastline, hiking, camping, and taking her dog, Archie, on adventures. Kalei’s active lifestyle ensures she stays deeply connected to the training demands, footwear needs, and performance goals of the active North Brisbane community.
